Wow in the last year, I have pretty much been to all of the major cities on the East coast of Australia. I went to Sydney in October last year for my best friend's birthday, in March I went to Brisbane for Ed Sheeran, and now to Melbourne for Vidcon! I have never been to Melbourne or have any recollection to being in the state of Victoria. I went with my boyfriend and we tried to do as much as we could!

Thursday 30th August

We Arrived in Melbourne on Thursday and we went for a walk around the Central Shopping Centre and other stores in the area I did buy some items on our travels. I bought items such as a dress, playing cards, Jolly Ranchers, and a book. I did photograph the stuff I bought on the first day, however, I did not photograph any other items I bought though I will try to give rough descriptions as there was a lot! Here are some items I bought on the first day.

We also had a look around the area and it is such a beautiful city. We had dinner in one of the many alley ways that served us homemade pasta and it was so beautiful!

Friday 31st August

We did the majority of our shopping on Friday. I bought other items from Lush, ZING, and many other stores. We did go to some local stores to have a look. They had some very good deals in some ways compared to major stores.

I went to a make up tutorial at Mecca Maxima where I learned a few tips and tricks about applying make up! If you are thinking of going, I would 100% recommend as they are quite helpful depending on what look you want to go for. I did take a photo of the look we collaborated together in, but I took it after a long day and after eating burgers so I apologise for that, but that it how it went unfortunately.

She chose products such as Lancome foundation and Tatcha and Drunk Elephant which are quite expensive products which was a little annoying but it was still cool to see how higher end brands work without purchasing them.

After all that, we attended the VidCon Opening show where it was quite interesting. My boyfriend thought it was boring, but enjoyed it. I think because is not really interested in the same YouTuber's as I am. Here are some photos I collected:

Saturday 1st September

Day One at VidCon was a success! Day Two was so much more cooler! We went to a few panels and Q&A's such as Safiya and Tyler's Q&A and panels titled 'Trust and Truth in Digital Spaces: Creating in the #MeToo Movement' and 'Social Media to Social Change'. These were very interesting topics. I was quite happy with both. Though the #MeToo movement really annoyed me in some ways as they went on about how all men are evil which is not what I personally think though.

I did however meet Anna Akana, Tanya Hennesy and Christian Hull which was pretty amazing. I was speechless both times so it was a bit awkard.

Sunday 2nd September

Day three was good as well! I met Safiya Nygaard and Tyler Williams which was pretty awesome! They were so nice and awesome!

After the meet and greet, we went to DFOs and bought some stuff. I bought some chocolates for my mother and some Levi jeans for 50% off which was awesome!

The closing show was great! I am officially a new subscriber of Aunty Donna as they were so awesome and amazing! I met some new 10 year old friends in the line. They were quite interesting. The end show was about the same as the opening show with Gabbie Hanna closing the show down! I don't have any photos sorry :(

Monday 3rd September

We went to the Wonderland expo at Federation Square which was awesome. It was all things Alice and Wonderland and it was amazing! If you are in Melbourne around October definitely go! It was interactive and fascinating.

More shopping.... Don't remember what I bought.

Tuesday 4th September

We went to Queen Victoria Markets where they had so many good quality products. Some were a bit eh, but most was good. I bought this notebook which was leather with the Mauraders Map on the front cover.

After that, we walked to the aquarium! It was expensive but worth it!

For dinner we went to a Brewery for an expensive dinner to end our special trip away celebrating the good things.

Wednesday 5th September

Travelling Home

Here are some other pictures from our trip that I would like to share x

Next Week, I will be revealing my second tattoo!

Happy Travelling,

Emily x
