This is going to be a topic that may be helpful for some and for others may help to cope with the after math. I will tell my side of the story when I told my mum, grandparents and dad. Tattoo's are bit taboo This should be fun.

Mum:

I love my mum a lot, but the way she talked about me or my sister getting a tattoo, she would be angry and say things to deter us to get any. This was the toughest one to tell her as I knew her feelings and I felt like getting a tattoo helped me in some way, I feel very happy about having one and in some way, it has given me some more self confidence.

Her reaction was very hard. She said she doesn't want to see it and it does kind of hurt as it is a part of myself. Luckily, it is in a spot where I can cover it easily. So, I refrain from talking to her about it and just the topic in general. It will be a sore topic between us, but as I said, it is my body and I decide what happens to it. She is still talking to me which is good!

Grandparents

Surprisingly, they were better than my mum. They were shocked, but took it a lot better. They pretty much I have to live with it and it is my chose which I am happy with.

Dad

He did not really have much of a reaction rather than oh. He has a tattoo so he can't really say too much negative. But, he did react to it well.

Some tips I have for you. I watched many videos from Qcknd, Katrin Berndt and OfficialNibbles. (Link on the names):

- Tell them before. Some said to tell them before, but for me, telling them before gives them the chance to talk me out of it which I don't want.

Next Week,

Happy Inking,

Emily x

Disclaimer: I did use tips from blogs and YouTuber's I will link them in the blog if I had help from them.
