I had a lot of feedback on my latest Instagram post. Nearly 800 likes! I am going to give a rundown of what was said in the comments as well my own pros and cons on both palettes.

Lunar Beauty 'Life's a Drag'

Pros

New brand, different formula

Try something new

"I would get Manny's cuz has more colours" - @biee8

"Manny's kinda has all the basis covered, while having a sight pop" - @lilmisswonderlands

"When it comes to colours I want personally in my collection I would pick Manny's palette and I also love how he is supporting the drag community openly like this" - @crueltyfreemakeupheaven

Cons

Unknown formula, don't know how it will work. "Until there are some reviews and tutorials I'm sticking with Jeffree" - @dannielleeverett

"For some reason I don't like the shade range for Manny or maybe it the placement of the shadows that are throwing me off" - @tonialex13

"Manny stole the colour ideas from Jeffree." - @gregorymunster ... I personally do not believe this, but it can be possible as they were very close and showing each other ideas and may be one got ideas from the other.

"The front of the palette looks almost identical to the Kat Von D's 'Divine Palette' which also gets origins from drag aesthetic." "Manny's palette unit design and layout looks exactly like Laura Lee and courdrain palettes." "that yellow looks SO CHALKY" - @gregorymunster

"The whole bottom row of the Thirsty palette is in Manny's new palette, and the rest of the colours in Manny's palette I already have from the Blood Sugar palette and Beauty Killer" - @marii_solxx

"Packaging is sad tbh idk why so many peauty bloggers lying and saying its nice" - @lilmermxid

Jeffree Star Cosmetics 'Thirsty'

Pros

Trusted brand "Jeffree has a proven brand" - @dannielleeverett

"Jeffree's formula is really good, plus I don't really support Manny, so personally I would get Jeffree's" - @hannahl.campbell

"I think the layout of the Thirsty palette is more pleasing to the eye" - @bogivecsanin

"I love peachy shades" - @a.wanna.be.mua

"Packaging is amaxing and his eyeshadow formulas are Bomb" - @marii_solxx

"The pinks and peach tones are nicer" - @miameriadominique

Cons

Controversies surrounding him and the brand

"Jeffree's palette while nice does seem more like a 'secondary' palette that doesn't completely cover the basics." - @lilmisswonderlands

"I personally feel like Give Me Glow Cosmetics summer vibes is better than both of these" @garden_heart.jpg

My Verdict:

Thank you for everyone who commented on my post! I never thought I would wake up to so many likes and comments in my life, so I really do appreciate it.

I feel that both have their fair share of good and bad. I will have to choose Jeffree's for the time being as I feel I know what I am getting for my money, rather than Manny's which is knew and sometimes you do not know if you can trust reviews. As @cuz_is_cool said "get Jeffree's palette and when you get your money back up and you still want the other than get it" which is most probably what I will follow! Be sure to check out my review of the palette here once I order it and play with it!

Happy deciding,

Emily x
