The worst chore when it comes to make up is cleaning brushes. I absolutely hate it! So using some hacks will help making this job easier and more simple. I have only chosen one hack as there is not many and if I enjoy this, I will do another post on these hacks.
I got this hack from Pinterest and I credit ByAnnaGrace on blogspot. I'll link her page here. Though she doesn't post anymore, she has some awesome posts on her blog.

I had a good experience with this hack, though the sponges did not clean very well. But, I will use this hack to clean my brushes again as it cleaned my brushes very well with little effort involved. I didn't measure the amounts and guessed how much I needed with water, vinegar and dish soap. Here are some photos:

This is the combination of water, vinegar and dish soap. I did clean some of my brushes before taking the picture of it. The mixture was clear even with the yellow dish soap.

This is the brush before cleaning it. As you can see it has a bit of coloured eyeshadow on the brush. Purple and pinks can stain brushes, but this did remove the colour easily as you can see in this photo.

This is after drying and you can tell how clean the brushes are. I am sorry to be gross, but I have not cleaned my brushes since a year ago. Even though the shadows have stayed on their for over a year, the pigments were able to wash off completely.

Here are all my brushes and sponges clean! Let me know any hacks you use to clean your brushes and I will attempt to use it in the next blog I use cleaning hacks.
Next Week, I will be reviewing the Juvia's Place palette's so look forward to it. Let's see if they are worth the hype.
Happy Cleaning,
Emily x
