Tarte Haul!

With the new year, I decided to take advantage of the up to 70% off sale on their website. I love using their website as it is one of a few websites that show the Australian prices rather than just showing the American prices and having to guess or use the converter to make sure I'm not spending too much.

If you want to check out the website, click here.

It turns out I gained more of a haul than expected. I was received the wrong order and I received some other goodies! Here is the mistake make up!

Tartlette Palette in Bloom

The colours in this palette are beautiful to work with and are blendable to make a very natural look, or a dramatic look. I took inspiration from the pamphlet that came with the palette. I would recommend this palette over Kylie Cosmetics 'Bronze Palette'.

Paint Pretty Palette for Eye and Cheek

I am not a fan of this palette. It may be good for on the go simple looks with a blush and two eye shadows. However, the Blush I found a bit two dark and the eyeshadows are very basic. This may be good for teenagers wanting to start make up as it is $15AUD but I would still say it is not worth it.

Amazonian Clay Foundation in Fairly Light Honey

This foundation is amazing!!!! I was originally going to buy this however in a different colour. It is a bit yellow on me but I don't care because I actually love the feel and the look of the foundation! I recommend this to everyone. It has buildable coverage depending on how much you want and can hide my imperfections. It does crease a bit but not as much as the Kat Von D foundation.

This is what I actually ordered! But, because I am international, they refunded me the money from my original order and gave me 30% off my next order. So, I reordered as much as I could of the original order.

The Swamp Queen Eye and Cheek Palette was sold out by the time I re-bought the product which sucks but they couldn't do much about that. I could not find the Bightening bundle Spray and Sponge Set on their site, so I didn't worry and found other products to buy. I ended up buying the Lipstick that was collabed with Bunny called 'Swamp Family'. The colour is not fully pigmented, but when patted into the lips, the coverage becomes even and pigmented.

Cleansing Cutie Scrubber

Paid $4.80AUD - Originally $10AUD

I bought this with the original order. Smaller than expected. Because they didn't have the same sale on, I got this at the original $10 which sucked a little bit.

Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint - Fairytale

Paid $13.60AUD - Originally $29AUD

I bought this with the original order. This was the same case as the 'Swamp Family' lipstick. These are not as long lasting as Kylie Cosmetics and Jeffree Star Cosmetics lipsticks.

Clean Queen Vegan Deodorant

Paid $12AUD - Originally $21AUD

I bought this again as well.

Shape Tape Contour Concealer

$37AUD (Tarte usually does not do sales for their concealer)

I bought this again. The formula with the concealers is full coverage, but it is a very thick formula so that would be its only downfall. I does fall into my lines if not set properly.

Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation

Paid $43.20AUD - Originally $54AUD

I did not buy this again as I have already had the Fair Light Honey, so I will use that before I get the lighter shade. I do admit it is orange on my skin.

Next Week there will be no post as I have assignments and I will not have time to create a post. Thank you for understanding x

Happy Spending,

Emily x
