Last week, I went to Brisbane with two friends to go and see Ed Sheeran live. I was looking forward to this experience as it will be my first live concert in a stadium. It was a week filled with dancing and shopping with my friends!

Monday 19th March

On the first day, we drove up through the Gold Coast so we could stop at Pacific Fair shopping centre to shop until we dropped! Here is what I bought at each shop!

Lush

From Lush, I only bought one new thing I bought as I have used the other two. 'Sexy Peel' is one of my own personal favourites as it smells and feels nice on the skin! The ingredients are Fresh Organic Lemon Juice and Fresh Organic Lime Juice for refreshing and rejuvenating, and Grapefruit Oil for Uplifting and refreshing, as well as Organic Orange Peel. I have never used 'Outback Mate' but it has a nice smell and I am looking forward to using it. It has Peppermint Oil for Cooling and Invigorating, Lemongrass Oil for Uplifting and Antiseptic, as well as Eucalyptus Oil. I have used 'D'Fluff' shaving cream before and I loved it. It is a product that you need to practice with to understand how to use.

Sephora

I only bought four things from Sephora. I bought the Philosophy 'Senorita Margarita' body wash, Kat Von D 'Everlasing Liquid Lipstick'. Fenty Beauty 'Starstruck' Stick Highlighter and a BeautyBlender in the colour blue. Because I spent $100 in store, I got a free makeup bag which is awesome, even though it is made from cheap plastic. I have used the body wash by Philosophy and it is amazing! It is a $30 but the bottle is massive and a little goes a long way. I also got one of the Sephora Collection Face Masks and they were pretty good. My skin was a bit sticky afterwards and I think it did brighten may skin and purify it a little.

Mecca

I bought some oldies and some newbies! The Philosophy Exfoliating Facial Wash and also the Too Faced 'Hangover' Setting Spray. I tried this with the Mecca Beauty Box! The Mario Badescu 'Botanical Exfoliating Scrub' I tried out once and I loved it from the sample I tried at the beginning of the year. I have used the GlamGlow 'GravityMud' but I bought the Power Ranger version which is green instead of silver. The package also came with a sample of the original which is pretty good!

Bath & Body Works

I bought some things for my car as I have never heard of this store and was a bit iffy about using their products so liked the smell of them so I bought some.

Valleygirl

Peter Alexander

I love their pajama pants so I bought more! They are so comfy and so nice to sleep in! I bought a pair for me and my boyfriend! He likes them, but he wishes I got a bigger size but he can still fit into them and is getting used to them! I got some Wonka Bar pants and Pokemon pants.

We also had lunch in the food court at Coco Cubano. I had the Quinoa Salad and it was pretty food! I which it had dressing in it though. The salad came with mushroom and halumi which was pretty good.

We stayed at the Abby on Roma and that was a rollercoaster ride. There was no internet in the rooms, only in the lobby, parking had to be reserved, so we paid $70 on parking for two nights, showers were horrible. Other than those things, the room was okay and it was close to the stadium. For dinner, we got Uber Eats which was good as we were all tired from the trip up. I got food from Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers in Paddington. It was very good. The experience with Uber Eats was pretty good, but depending on when you order and traffic can alter how long to wait for food.

Tuesday 20th March

Today, we also did more shopping before we went to the concert we were all waiting for ... ED SHEERAN!!! We went to Queen Street Mall and bought a few things. For Breakfast, we had Maccas because it was cheap.

MAC

This lipstick is actually feels nice and I understand the hype around them! I am glad I have a MAC lipstick.

Cotton On

I bought some bralettes from here as they were 2 for $20. These are really comfy and it feels like I am not wearing anything other than the elastic around the body.

Forever 21

The two items I bought from here is a singlet and a bodysuit. The singlet is a oldschool Marvel shirt with a cover of an Ironman magazine with the sides cut out and connected with little bits of fabric. The body suit is a Rugrats theme with the characters and logos on it which is pretty cool though!

Typo

I bought a Odyssey Travel Compendium in the colour Mid Tan Floral Embossed. This will be handy for when I go overseas next (watch this space). It is very nice and fashionable for going overseas.

Valleygirl

I bought a dress shirt with a corset back on it. It is very nice to wear out and it looks amazing. It is maroon with a floral pattern on it. It fitted very nice and I enjoy it. I just have to get used to the corset back.

We went to the concert half hour after the gates opened expecting the lines to be crazy, however, we got in as soon as we got there. We got merch before going into the concert which in someway regret but glad I did it as leaving was hectic as it was just crowds after crowds for a good majority of walking home. The first performance was really good as it was his first tour and especially with a mega star like Ed Sheeran. Fergus James is in someway a younger version of Ed, so if you like Ed's music, you'll like his. Missy Higgins was just amazing in general. Singing Scar at the top of our lungs was just amazing! Ed Sheeran was just amazing!!!!!!! First stadium concert I have been to has raised the bar high for any others I go to. I will do a make up tutorial soon about the makeup look I did, so stay tuned for that!

Wednesday 21st March

We literally drove home as we woke up. We had lunch at a hotel in Tenterfield. It was nice but a little overpriced for a small town. But very different. The restauarnt was called The Commercial Boutique Hotel and it was pretty good. I enjoyed it and it was filling. I had the Roast Chicken BLAT. In some parts it was more bread than insides but it was still pretty good!

Next Week, I will be telling the story of my experience with my first tattoo.

Happy Travelling,

Emily x
