I love to create new things, even without having an instruction manual to create it. I have been in need of a new spice rack and I decided to create it myself. I am using a box lid from Big W to create it.
Step One:
Measure the spices that you are going to put in there depending on how you are going to structure it. Cut them out with a exactoblade or scissors or a knife.

Step Two:
Paint the pieces to whatever colour you desire. I would describe do tow layers of paint to ensure the colour stays on the cardboard.

Step Three:
With a glue gun, glue the pieces together making sure that the pieces stick together. Wait to dry then it is ready to use!

Paint over the glue to blend in with the shelf. You can do this step if you want to, I personally did not.
The Finished Product
In Action

This can be used for any type of shelving specially for office and other rooms that require this. This is cheap to make and in some way, it it cheaper than getting a labelled desk organizer. I recommend this project to anyone as it is a good project to start DIY! Set your minds to creative and start creating!
Next Week, I will be unveilling my tips and tricks to finding Cheap Textbooks so stay tuned for that!
Happy crafting,

Disclaimer, I bought all products shown with my own money and the idea of the shelf was my own.
