Mecca Haul!

Mecca is another Australian store which is similar to Sephora. Both stores offer different things and I personally like Mecca better than Sephora as it offers things that I personally use. Here is what I bought online as I do not have access to a store.

Philosophy has slowly become one of my favourites for skin care and this is why I decided to try their body wash. Priced at $30AUD, it is on the pricier side but my experience with the wash has left my skin smelling good and being smooth. The smells of the body wash are quite similar to the actual to the actual product.

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Cleansing Oil-Creme Duo has been amazing to my hair as the more I've used it, the more I have noticed how the frizziness in my hair has been reduced. For $55AUD, it has been worth it to control the mop of hair I have.

GLAMGLOW Gravity Mud Firming Treatment was chosen to spoil myself seeing many influenceceers loving this product. At $24AUD, it is expensive for what you get. I have only used it three time and already half way through the container.

Setting spray is important to make sure your makeup says intact throughout the night and day. Urban Decay's All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is one of the holy grails for setting the face! The purpose for the purchase was to replenish what I have left as I use it all the time! This costs $49AUD and is worth it as it would last for about a year.

SAMPLES

I have not tested the samples as I do not have much and hope to use them when I go out or when I run out of something.

The Stila Stay All Day Foundation costs $58AUD which is not too bad for foundation with the price convertion between the US and Australia. They gave me four colours to play with which are more for light to medium toned skins however, they do offer a colour for darker skin tones.

*UPDATE*

Oh. My. God! This foundation is incredible. Within my normal make up routine it really makes my skin photoshopped. Though, it is not full coverage, it still is amazing. It is more of a dewy foundation, but when you set it, it becomes matte (Unless that is what matte foundations do, I am not 100% sure). However, it is a bit orange for my complexion and the lightest one is a porcelain colour which would be too white and I don't have concealer white enough to use as a highlight. The next time I order from Mecca, I will 100% buy this!

The Hourglass Hyaluronic Skin Tint Ivory is something I am looking forward to try as it has a high price of $81AUD. I personally think this would not be worth the money, but I will try it and give it my best opinion. I personally prefer a more matte finish rather than a shiny finish as I live with oily skin and hate the shine

The Mario Badescu Botanic Exfoliating Scrub looks it may help with my skin which I will try between bottles of my exfoliating face wash. Not using it everyday will be different though. This is set at $37AUD and I'm hoping that I will see change in my face.

*UPDATE*

This product is really helping with the oilyness of my skin as it helps control as well as minimise the pores on my skin. I would recommend for anyone with enlarged pores and oily skin.

Mecca is a good alternative for those who want something different to Sephora. The link to the website is here.

Have Fun,

Emily x
