Princess Polly Haul!

Princess Polly is an Australian website which mainly sells fashion but now stocks different makeup and skin needs and wants. They are also one of the only Australian sites that stocks Jeffree Star Cosmetics. This is good for those who want to see the prices from an Australian currency.

I bought Ardell Faux Mink 811 Lashes, which cost $12.99AUD. These lashes have a lot of volume and comfortable. As I am still learning how to place them on my lashes, they may not fit properly on my lashes. Some YouTube tutorials are not helpful when it comes to placing them.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Watermelon Gum Lip Scrub was my next purchase at $21.95AUD and in some way, I regret it. It does replicate the taste of watermelon but in my opinion there is this chemically aftertaste which overpowers the taste of the watermelon. I would say my favourite flavour is the Strawberry Gum which actually tastes like sweet strawberries and without the chemical taste. I am not sure that there may have been a change in the formula Jeffree uses.

I did a stupid thing in many people's opinion and bought a foundation online. In my defence, I had tested the Benefit Hello Flawless WOW! Liquid Foundation before purchasing online and I thought the foundation was my colour. Now having tested the foundation, it is too orange for my tone. The foundation is watery but it is light on the skin which is good. I personally do not like the orangeness of the foundation as well as the price point of $62AUD.

The Benefit the Porefessional: Matte Rescue has been one of the best moisturisers I have used as it has dramatically reduced the excess oil produced on my skin. I have been using it since June of this year and I have seen a dramatic difference in my skin and how much oil is on my skin. This has also helped with breakouts on my skin.I would 100% recommend for anyone with oily skin. With this in mind, I justify the $49AUD price point.

I wanted to try something different with my fashion and as body suits are coming into fashion again, I decided to give it a go. The Bloom Mesh Bodysuit is a beautiful piece of clothing but on me, it does not fit properly on my body as it doesn't sit right however I position it. This piece cost $40AUD.

Lastly, I bought the Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mousse as well as the Bondi Sands Self Tanning Mitt to tan my legs over the holidays and summer break. I have not used this product yet but I may put a post later on testing the product and giving it a go. I may start a series that tests products and see if they are beginner proof. The tanner is priced at $35AUD and the mitt is $9.95AUD for one.

For Aussies, I recommend this site for makeup and clothes. You can access the website for Princess Polly here

As always,
